As a movement, we want to plant churches which exhibit the following traits: commitment to worship, focus on building communities of faith, Spirit-filled communities that hear - and obey - His voice, and serve the poor, the lost, and the sick; making disciples, planting reproducing churches, and taking the gospel to the nations.

Our intention is to release church planters through local Vineyard churches.  It is our belief that a church planter should have a track record of effectiveness in ministry, proven leadership skills, and training within the local church.

Occasionally there are churches which are unable to provide the training and experience needed for development of a church planter, in those cases, a "Training Church" can come alongside the planter and their local church to help facilitate and provide input.
