Churches Criteria for a Vineyard Christian Fellowship in the Planting
Stages
POTENTIAL CHURCH PLANT CRITERIA
Prior to First Year
Pastor's Recommendation turned in to closest church plant coordinator
Application completed and turned in
to closest church plant coordinator
Assessment completed with team from the district or region
Action plan developed by planter,
sending pastor and assessors. Coach is
assigned who will oversee the training and development of the plant
through
the subsequent stages
CHURCH PLANT CRITERIA
Has completed the training requirements; release form signed
Has acquired the necessary funds to move and begin operations
Has articulated the vision and is able to sell it
Has a working understanding of the Vineyard Genetic Code
Has moved and is established in the target area
Is gathering a core group to facilitate growth to 50 people
MISSION CHURCH CRITERIA
VCF Genetic Code in place in leaders
50 people (adults + children = 50) in general assembly
Some form of children's program
Two to three small groups
Vineyard worship leader
Non-residential/public meeting place
ESTABLISHED VCF CHURCH
Vision demonstrated with measurable results
VCF Genetic Code visible in ministries
100 people (adults + children = 100)
in general assembly
Functioning children's leadership team
Growing infrastructure - 6 small groups
Worship team
Second Year Target
Leadership training in place
Finances to support a full-time pastor
Accountability - established church government
A permanent meeting place (rented or purchased)
